To connect a photo gallery to your Apollo Apps application, you can choose between 5 types of external sources:

  • Flickr

- Facebook Photos
- WMaker Photos
- 500px
-Custom

As a general rule, remember that the source will only show in the app the content you have uploaded yourself, not the content initially uploaded by some users and marked as favorite on your website.
If you don't have content of your own in your account, the source won't be able to connect in the backend.

1. Connect Facebook photos

To connect a Facebook page, you just have to fill in the username. It is located in the URL of the page. For example, the username of the page "Apollo Apps" is "Apollo Apps", we find it in bold in this URL: http://www.facebook.com/apolloapps.

If you have not set up a username for your page, you must use the ID of your page. It works the same way, it is in the URL of the page, in bold in this example: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fredzone/130322493652366

2. Connect a Flickr gallery

To connect a Flickr gallery to your Apollo Apps application, you just have to enter your Username (screen name) or Flickr ID. If you are a Flickr user, you probably know it: it's what identifies you in your profile's URL.

For instance, for Apollo Apps, the username: Apollo Apps can be found in the public gallery URL, as shown in the screenshot below.

If the username doesn't work, paste the URL of your Flickr page in http://idgettr.com (or any other similar service) and get your Flickr user ID number. Then enter this Flickr ID in your section.

3. Connect a gallery of a WMaker site

To connect your WMaker website gallery to your Apollo Apps app, just enter:

  • URL of your WMaker site

- Login: Your Account ID
- Password: your password

4. Connect a 500px account

To connect a 500px gallery to your Apollo Apps app, you just have to enter your username.
If you're a 500px user, you probably know it: it's what identifies you in your public profile's URL.

For instance, Dominique's username (username: "dsiacci") can be found in his profile's URL, like shown in the screenshot above.

5. Connect a Custom content feed

To connect a custom content feed gallery to your Apollo Apps app, just enter the URL of your custom feed.
