This tutorial works for any mCMS section, we'll show you how to do it on a Map section as an example.
In your Map section, a gradient effect is applied to your images by default.
It is possible to hide this gradient.
To do that, you must first activate the Developer Option add-on from the add-on store.
This option is free with the Advanced subscription, and can be purchased for an additional $4/month with the Standard or Full plans.
Once the Developer Option add-on has been activated, go to your Map section, where the Json tab will now appear.
1. Add the hideGradient = 1 property
In the Json tab of your section you will see the object "detail". Click on the + sign next to "detail" to drop down its content.
At the bottom of the list under the object "detail", click on "add property" (the link will appear if you move the mouse over the bottom of the "detail" list). A pop-up window will appear, fill in the hideGradient property and validate it.
Go back in the list of properties under the object "detail", add the value 1 across from the hideGradient property, and then save your changes at the bottom of the page.
2. Update the Json modification
Finally, update your modification in your app from the menu Publish > Changelog > Update now.
The next time the app is launched, the gradient effect will be gone.
3. Reminder for Mcms map section
If you choose to hide the gradient in your mCMS Map section, the distance on the point picture will be less visible.
